Tim Smith
Chief Executive Officer

Tim Smith joined the organization in 2020 as Chief Innovation Officer and was appointed CEO in 2022. After graduating from IPFW (Purdue Fort Wayne), Tim and his wife, Angela, moved to Indianapolis where he attended the IU School of Law. Upon graduation and admission to the Indiana Bar, Tim and Angela returned to Fort Wayne where Tim joined MedPro Group. After 25 years and many different leadership positions, Tim retired from MedPro Group in 2019. His last position was as SVP of Operations & Technology where he led close to 350 employees and contractors who, together, were responsible for assuring all company stakeholders had a “best-in-class” experience.
Tim has been active in local politics and has served on numerous boards. His passions include spending time with his family (five adult children and more than nine grandchildren…all under age 3), woodworking and hunting. He and his family have been active members at Grace Gathering Church for their entire lives.

Mark Terrell
President

Mark Terrell graduated from Taylor University in 1984 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Systems. Mark started his career with Northwestern Mutual as a retirement and estate planning specialist. In 1994, he left his chosen career to serve as the CEO of Lifeline Youth & Family Services and has since founded two other nonprofits. He now serves as the President of the Lasting Change family of organizations. When Mark started in '94, Lifeline had 17 employees, a budget of $600,000, and served around 200 people a year. Now, Lifeline is one of Indiana’s largest and fastest growing nonprofits with nearly 700 employees, a budget of $54 million, and is on track to serve 40,000 people. Mark has testified before Congress on two occasions, received the Distinguished Alumnus for Personal Achievement award, The Vitality Award for prevention, is the 2018 Ambassador Enterprises SEED Challenge winner, and is a governor appointee to serve on the Allen Superior Court Judicial Nominating Commission.
Mark’s favorite roles are those of husband of 34 years, father to three sons and one daughter, and grandfather to four grandchildren.

David Cummings
Chief Financial Officer

David joined the Lasting Change team in December of 2021. As CFO, David is responsible for the planning, implementation, managing, and running of all the finance activities of the organization, including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and asset preservation. He holds experience managing and serving on financial teams with Steel Dynamics, Hamil, Lehman & England, P.C., and Brotherhood Mutual Insurance Company. David enjoys working with a team of people who not only value Christian principles but live them out in their work to impact the community.
David and his wife Jenna have two children. He loves to spend time with his family, exercise, and take on projects around the house.

Curtis Smith
Chief Marketing & Communications Officer

Curtis joined the team in January 2021 as Chief Marketing and Communications Officer. Prior to that, he was with Parkview Health for five years as the Corporate Director of Community Engagement. From 1995 to 2016, Curtis was the Chief Meteorologist at 21 Alive, in Fort Wayne, where he won numerous awards as the region’s favorite forecaster and TV personality.
He serves on the Elder Board of Blackhawk Ministries and sits on the Board of Directors for Heart of the City. Curtis is extremely engaged with the community and collaborates with many non-profit organizations every year to emcee events and host video productions. He completed undergraduate degrees at both Southern Illinois University and Mississippi St. University and has a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Huntington University. Curtis and his wife Jessie have been married since 1994 and have three adult sons and one daughter-in-law.

Gordon Haines
Vice President of Culture & Administration

Gordon joined the Lasting Change team in 2016 and serves as the Vice President of Culture & Administration. Gordon graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1983 with a mechanical engineering degree. After his active duty service, he joined Procter & Gamble where he ran various manufacturing operations; he has a broad background in local and international business and manufacturing operations. Gordon feels blessed to be a part of the LC team helping individuals succeed, families thrive, and
communities prosper.
His wife Kathy is a clinical pharmacist at the VA in Fort Wayne. Gordon enjoys spending time with his family, as well as being involved with his church and community.

Cindy White
Vice President of Human Resources

Cindy joined the Lasting Change team in 2022 as the Vice President of Human Resources. She brings a wide range of experience with her. Cindy was MedPro Group’s Legal division’s Filing & Licensing Leader. Before joining MedPro Group, Cindy worked as a registered nurse. After several years of working in intensive care settings at St. Joseph Hospital in Fort Wayne, Cindy joined Lincoln Financial Group, to establish their first specialty care team. Cindy was Director of Operations of a multi-state PPO and later joined Swiss Re and worked with Life Underwriting.
Cindy is board president of a grant-giving foundation, The Fort Wayne Health & Education Foundation. Cindy was recently elected to the NAAIA (National African American Insurance Association) Indiana Chapter's board of directors.
Cindy and her husband, Marshall, are passionate about educating and inspiring youth to be their best selves. Cindy has recently launched a wellness program for UPAF to teach both the leaders and students about social-emotional wellness. She is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC), a Certified Workplace Mindfulness Facilitator, and a certified 200-hour Yoga Teacher and SEL*F Wellness Facilitator. Cindy and Marshall have four children and three grandchildren. They enjoy traveling and attending music festivals and concerts.

Rob Eicher
Vice President of Crosswinds Counseling

Rob joined the Lasting Change team as the Vice President of Crosswinds in March of 2022.  Before joining Crosswinds, he spent 12 years in the insurance industry, finishing his insurance career as the National Sales Manager at MedPro Group. Rob completed his degree in International Community Development at Oral Roberts University in 1998.
He and his wife Erin spent seven years serving unreached minority groups in Thailand and China before returning to the United States in 2008. Rob is most passionate about loving God and the people around him, especially his wife of over 25 years and their four kids.  

Kevin Hedrick
Vice President of Lifeline Youth & Family Services

Kevin has been on the Lasting Change team since September 2003. He serves as the Vice President of Lifeline Youth & Family Services, a non-profit that Lasting Change supports. He holds a degree in Education from Ball State University. Kevin loves being able to serve the families and youth of Lifeline to help them rediscover hope and rebuild their relationships.
In his spare time, if you can’t find Kevin spending time with his wife and three children or coaching his sons’ youth sports teams, you can probably find him golfing, fishing or playing basketball.
